In the video I actually kind of forgot to mention the difference between the two different methods (nice). Basically the hot bloom produces a slightly brighter and more full bodied coffee. The other immersion method creates a more rich and smooth flavor. They do make a big difference depending on which you choose!

Ingredients you’ll need (makes 1/2 gallon):
1.5 cups (80g) dark roasted coffee beans (Ideally espresso beans, coarse grind, something like coarse cornmeal)
6 cups (1400g) water
*NOTES: You can totally adjust this ratio and increase the amount of coffee if you want a stronger brew. I prefer my brew right around this spot but I know plenty of people who like it even stronger. If you want it super strong you can just double the amount of coffee and reduce the water a bit.
