This is an experimental Session IPA brewing video featuring El Dorado Hops and a 5.5% sessionable ABV. This is a juicy and hazy New England IPA (NEIPA) that’s brewed with Clawhammer Supply’s 240-volt digital electric brewing system. The special part about this beer is the El Dorado hops which have high alpha acids (more than 14%) and a pleasant fruity aroma and flavor profile that is reminiscent of pineapple and mango. The grains we used for this recipe are fairly simple, just some Pale Malt as a base and then Flaked Oats, Flaked Wheat, and Flaked Corn for extra flavor and body. This beer also had a longer boil than most, 75 minutes. The yeast we used to ferment this awesome beer was the Imperial Yeast A24 Ale yeast that is perfect for hop-forward beers. This yeast makes its own citrus and floral flavors during fermentation that pair excellently with the flavor and aroma of El Dorado hops. This home-brew recipe makes a beer that you can drink during the day or at night if you choose, it’s low ABV makes it great for any occasion.
